Clients of Colo4Atlanta now have access to several thousand square feet of freshly remodeled office space available next door to Colo4Atlanta DC1 (Smyrna), which is great for staffing techs on-site or even locating your entire office there. Office sizes vary from 500sq/ft to 3,200sq/ft in various layouts, and includes controlled keypad access for after hours access. The building is already connected to the Colo4Atlanta datacenter via fiber, and any office can be connected to that fiber within 48 hours.

Network access can be configured to put your office on the same VLAN as your rack, cabinet, or cage. Typical office access includes a 100Mbit switch port connecting your office to the datacenter, however full gigabit switch ports are available as well as dark (MMF) fiber should you choose to light it yourself. Even if your equipment is in DC2 (downtown) you can still access your rack, cabinet, or cage VLAN at high speeds via our metro fiber ring. Colo4Atlanta can also provide plain old internet access via ethernet, and phone/data circuits up to DS3 if required.

The office space is in a great location at the corner of I-75 and I-285 with plenty of parking and accommodations within short walking distance.

Please contact Colo4Atlanta for more information and additional contact information for leasing.

Colo4Atlanta is now offering enterprise grade dedicated NAS arrays for both on and off-site colocation. For clients not using the shared Colo4Atlanta NAS/SAN due to compliance or other such issues, we now offer a 100% private dedicated storage solution.

Our base offering is a single NAS device with 3TB of disk storage at RAID 5, the NAS can be connected to a client’s backend network segment and configured for backup data storage or live data storage.

Customizable specs:

- Up to 4 SATA II hard drives in RAID 0, 1, 5, or JBOD

- Hotswap hard drives with auto-rebuild

- Gigabit network port

- Easy to use web-based device administration

When leasing a dedicated NAS system from Colo4Atlanta, you are also receiving dedicated management and maintenance as part of the service. Colo4Atlanta guarantees to always have appropriate spare parts on hand in the event of failure.

Colo4Atlanta NAS arrays are typically located in a restricted access cabinet in the same data center as the client equipment, however Colo4Atlanta can arrange to locate the device in a client’s cabinet (1u required) or totally off-site. Off-site NAS colocation locates the device in one of our other data centers or POP’s, the traffic to/from the device is then tunneled back into the client’s backend network over our metro fiber rings.

For clients interested in larger dedicated NAS/SAN systems, please contact sales as we currently offer solutions up to 24TB.

We have a lot planned for the next few months, various new service roll outs and some projects that might make it into a product or service for our clients.

Please check back often as we will be posting new projects and services at random, and would love to have feedback from anyone interested in chatting about one of our ideas/projects/services.
